Bukidnon signs up with Segworks |

Recognizing the open source capabilities of Segworks Technologies, the Province of Bukidnon signs up with the company in implementing its Integrated Health System project. In a Notice to Proceed signed by Governor Jose Ma. R. Zubiri, Jr., the company began working on the project on September 1, 2008. Lemuel Trazo, the Project Manager and the company's Chief Operating Officer, confirmed initial implementation of the Hospital Information System in four (4) of the province's eight (8) hospitals, including its newly-built Bukidnon Medical Center, by the end of 2008. |

CEO Sam Matunog and COO Lemuel Trazo led the staff of the new Segworks Development Center at Bangkal, Davao City, in welcoming the visit of Dr. Edwin Mudanza and Dr. Lily Mudanza of the Kidapawan Medical Specialists, a 100-bed tertiary care hospital in Kidapawan, North Cotabato. The development staff briefed the medical specialists on the features of SegHIS, particularly its core modules of admission, medical records, billing, health insurance, and cashiering. |

Continuing development of the Hospital Information System (HIS) of Davao Medical Center, the government's premier hospital in Mindanao, was assured with the signing of a memorandum of agreement renewing the existing contract for a period of six (6) months. |
